Their great offerings and wonderful customer service prompted us to contact them about doing wedding favours for us.  Dawn was extremely responsive, and helpful, in putting together little bags of coffee for our guests...from the colour of the bags, labels, and type of coffee (beans or ground, Breakfast Blend, etc).  She stayed in touch even during the pandemic to confirm things, and even modify counts when things started to change. 

Unfortunately, three days before our wedding, everything fell apart. We lost our gorgeous, all-inclusive venue, our band, half of our already restricted guest count. We were scrambling to find a new place for our ceremony/reception, not to mention a caterer. Our original venue was taking care of everything...hors d'oeuvres, salad, three dinner options, even the cake! We had to not only replan our wedding at the eleventh hour, but also re-learn what was needed. 

On a whim, I e-mailed Dawn. They had been so wonderful with doing our favours, and we knew they had food we liked, I asked if on the off chance they did catering. She replied with a yes, and a phone call. I filled her in, and told her on such short notice we would just do sandwiches, pizza, salad, etc. She said we would not be eating pizza for our wedding meal, and proceeded to ask me about our cancelled meal from the venue.  The next morning, she got back to me with a menu, and I was flabbergasted! She listed several appetizers ranging from basic crudite to Greek Tortellini skewers with olives and sun-dried tomatoes. She would do salad, ravioli (we had some children, and even did chicken tenders for them too) and would have Sea Bass (which was one of our original dinner options) with Shrimp and a lemon butter sauce. She was extremely attentive to allergies, going so far as to notify us that Sea Bass feed on shellfish (one of our guests has a shellfish allergy) and offered to make them an equally tantalizing chicken dish. I received messages from her, and her husband Mike, telling us not to worry that they would provide dishes/cups/napkins/flatware/even volunteering to pick up ice/soft drinks/water so we wouldn't have to worry about one more thing. We were complete strangers and they became family overnight! They just kept reassuring us that everything would be ok, and what good are we if we can't help people in these stressful, emotional, and unremarkable times. I cry now just thinking of the complete kindness they exude.

We got to the church/church hall on our day, and they had everything set up, they served everyone tableside, were constantly making sure everyone had what they needed and wanted for nothing, they boxed up meals and remaining appetizers, etc, for our guests to take home without our even asking them to do so. I could go on and on.

I never would have imagined we would have had to replan our wedding in three days, but we were so blessed to end up with Sweet Buzz in our corner.

The owners, and staff,  are abounding in sincerity, and love for their neighbour, not to mention their incredible work ethic, and superb cuisine. 

We are forever grateful for them.
